The Equii-Est Atlantic 0g Lightweight Fixed Neck Turnout Rug is designed for comfort and protection during milder, wet conditions. Featuring a striking water-inspired pattern, this lightweight turnout rug is ideal for spring and autumn showers.
Constructed with a durable 600 Denier rip-stop outer and Teflon coating, this rug offers reliable waterproof protection while remaining breathable. The 0g fill (no fill) design makes it perfect for warmer temperatures or horses that don’t require additional insulation.
A breathable nylon lining helps manage moisture and maintain comfort, while the fixed neck design provides extended coverage against wind and rain.
Designed to suit a wide range of horses from miniature Shetlands to your Shires, this turnout rug offers a secure and adjustable fit. Features such as twin chest buckles, cross-over surcingles, leg straps, and a shoulder gusset ensure freedom of movement and stability in the field.

The Meaning Behind the Name

Waterproof & Breathability
All Equii-Est turnout rugs are designed for reliable weather protection and comfort.
- Waterproof rating: 3000mm
- Breathability rating: 3000–8000 MVT
MVT (Moisture Vapour Transmission) measures how effectively moisture escapes the rug. Higher values mean improved breathability and comfort.
The rug’s hydrophilic PU coating helps draw sweat away from your horse’s body, allowing moisture to move outward through the fabric.
During heavy rainfall, the outer layer may temporarily saturate, reducing airflow. This is normal for waterproof breathable rugs and can sometimes be mistaken for leakage.
Major seams are taped for waterproof protection, although it is not possible to seal every stitching or fastening point.
All waterproof rugs have taped seams at the stitching joints however it is not possible to tape seam or heat-seal every stitching, webbing or fastening from water penetration.
