The Meaning Behind The Name
Our 200g detachable neck turnout rug is a tribute to Esther’s late beagle puppy Hope. Espoir meaning hope in French felt like the perfect fit for this rug. Elegant yet cute at the same time. Hope was full of love and happiness she was always the first to greet you at the door and gave the best cuddles if you were feeling down. She had the personality everyone wants in a dog, so loving and caring. Hope was given 1 week to live when she was born as she had a heart condition, she out lived everyone’s expectation and passed away at the age of 2.

Waterproof & Breathability
All Equii-Est turnout rugs are designed for reliable weather protection and comfort.
- Waterproof rating: 3000mm
- Breathability rating: 3000–8000 MVT
MVT (Moisture Vapour Transmission) measures how effectively moisture escapes the rug. Higher values mean improved breathability and comfort.
The rug’s hydrophilic PU coating helps draw sweat away from your horse’s body, allowing moisture to move outward through the fabric.
During heavy rainfall, the outer layer may temporarily saturate, reducing airflow. This is normal for waterproof breathable rugs and can sometimes be mistaken for leakage.
Major seams are taped for waterproof protection, although it is not possible to seal every stitching or fastening point.
All waterproof rugs have taped seams at the stitching joints however it is not possible to tape seam or heat-seal every stitching, webbing or fastening from water penetration.
