Built for performance and protection, the Equii-Est Trewyn 350g Fixed Neck Turnout Rug is a heavy weight turnout rug designed to keep your horse warm, dry, and comfortable during the harshest winter conditions.
Featuring a durable 600 Denier rip-stop outer with a Teflon coating, this rug offers reliable waterproof protection while maintaining breathability. The 350g polyfill provides excellent insulation, making it ideal for colder weather turnout.
The fixed neck design delivers full coverage, helping to retain warmth and protect against wind and rain. A breathable nylon lining supports comfort and helps manage moisture, keeping your horse dry from the inside out.
Designed to suit horses of all sizes from miniature Shetlands to larger Shires this turnout rug provides a secure and adjustable fit. With adjustable chest straps, cross-over surcingles, leg straps, and a shoulder gusset, it allows freedom of movement while staying securely in place.
Finished with a large tail flap for added coverage, the Trewyn turnout rug is a dependable choice for winter turnout

The Meaning Behind The Name
Introducing the Trewyn rug named after our founding director’s beloved event horse Trewyn or Winnie to everyone at home. Winnie is grace, strength and a whole lot of love. She may be 17.1hh but don’t let her size scare you she is a big softy who absolutely adores cuddles.
Her career started with 5* event rider Phil Brown who produced her through the levels to BE Novice, to this day Phil follows Winnie’s journey and is a huge part of her life and the horse she is today. Currently competing at BE 90 with the aim of competing on the prestigious grounds of Badminton, a dream that Esther has had since she was a little girl. Inspired by her enduring bond she shares with Esther, the rug resembles her legacy and devotion she shows to everyone who has the pleasure of knowing her

Waterproof & Breathability
All Equii-Est turnout rugs are designed for reliable weather protection and comfort.
- Waterproof rating: 3000mm
- Breathability rating: 3000–8000 MVT
MVT (Moisture Vapour Transmission) measures how effectively moisture escapes the rug. Higher values mean improved breathability and comfort.
The rug’s hydrophilic PU coating helps draw sweat away from your horse’s body, allowing moisture to move outward through the fabric.
During heavy rainfall, the outer layer may temporarily saturate, reducing airflow. This is normal for waterproof breathable rugs and can sometimes be mistaken for leakage.
Major seams are taped for waterproof protection, although it is not possible to seal every stitching or fastening point.
All waterproof rugs have taped seams at the stitching joints however it is not possible to tape seam or heat-seal every stitching, webbing or fastening from water penetration.
